Chiro Kids

As a concerned parent, you no doubt wonder if your child is as healthy as possible. Did you know chiropractic care could help? A growing number of parents are adding pediatric chiropractic care to their children's health care regimen. Chiropractic care is 100% safe. When children present to our clinic, Dr. Badon takes time to examine the patient and fit a plan that will best benefit your childs needs. Adjustments are gentle and custom to fit the patient's age, size and needs.

You may be asking yourself, why would my child need to see a chiropractor? A pediatric chiropractor can help your child heal and attain true health. Chiropractors look beyond symptoms to address a problem’s root cause. When spinal or cranial joints don’t move properly (conditions called subluxations) they can irritate the nervous system— the nervous system that runs your child’s body. This irritation may lead to problems in various body systems, depending on which nerve gets affected. For example, nursing difficulties, poor sleep and constipation can all result from nervous system irritation. Chiropractic care removes the source of irritation, allowing your child’s body to heal and operate properly.

Today in our clinic, we are seeing a number of different pediatric conditions. Colic, Asthma, Nursing Difficulties, Growing pains, Poor sleep, Sports injuries, Ear infections, back and neck pain, Headaches, Constipation, Fussiness/Irritability, and Frequent colds are some of the various conditions we see in our clinic.

We get one spine for a lifetime, why not give your child the gift of an all-natural, safe and effective healthcare.

Dr. Badon has speciality training and certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Her goal is to serve, educate and empower the families in the New Orleans community. She is dedicated to educating the community about the benefits of chiropractic care in order to optimize health and quality of life. • "My husband, 14 month old son, and I have been seeing Dr. Badon for several months now. She does amazing chiropractic work. I've recommended her to several friends. She has helped eliminate my severe migraines, helped my son with infant gas/constipation and has helped my husband with back and neck pain. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Badon and what she has done for our family!"

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
